The Vinton-Shellsburg Band Department participates in two major fundraisers every year. Middle School Concessions is a way for students to earn money towards paying for various trips that the band department will take throughout the course of their time at Vinton-Shellsburg High School. The Soup Supper is a fundraiser for the band department that allows us to purchase things necessary for the success and advancement of our students, such as instruments, music, and other general supplies.
In the 2016-17 school year, there will be a push for additional fundraising ideas. Take the summer to think about options that you think would be effective, and please make an effort to come to the Band Booster meetings early in August and September to discuss options regarding fundraising for next year.
